RE: Demand for Refund, Order BF-20931
Dear Brightline Furniture Inc.,
On August 10, 2026 I paid $649.00 for a standing desk (order BF-20931). The item was not delivered. Delivery was promised by August 24, 2026. I requested a refund on September 2, 2026. I have not received a refund.
Under the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, a seller that cannot ship within the promised time (or within 30 days if no time was stated) must offer the buyer the option to cancel and receive a prompt refund.
South Dakota law (SDCL 37-24-6) makes it a deceptive act or practice to knowingly use any deceptive act or practice, false pretense, false promise or misrepresentation, or to conceal, suppress or omit any material fact, in connection with the sale or advertisement of any merchandise.
I request payment of $649.00 by October 20, 2026, by check mailed to the address above.
I would prefer to resolve this without further steps.
Please direct any response to me in writing at the address above.
Sincerely,
Jordan Lee
