RE: Demand for Refund, Order BF-20931
Dear Brightline Furniture Inc.,
On August 10, 2026 I paid $649.00 for a standing desk (order BF-20931). The item was not delivered. Delivery was promised by August 24, 2026. I requested a refund on September 2, 2026. I have not received a refund.
Under the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, a seller that cannot ship within the promised time (or within 30 days if no time was stated) must offer the buyer the option to cancel and receive a prompt refund.
The Missouri Merchandising Practices Act (RSMo § 407.020) declares any deception, false pretense, false promise, misrepresentation, unfair practice, or concealment, suppression or omission of any material fact in connection with the sale or advertisement of any merchandise to be an unlawful practice.
I request payment of $649.00 by October 20, 2026, by check mailed to the address above.
I would prefer to resolve this without further steps.
Please direct any response to me in writing at the address above.
Sincerely,
Jordan Lee
