RE: Demand for Refund, Order BF-20931

Dear Brightline Furniture Inc.,

On August 10, 2026 I paid $649.00 for a standing desk (order BF-20931). The item was not delivered. Delivery was promised by August 24, 2026. I requested a refund on September 2, 2026. I have not received a refund.

Under the FTC Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule, a seller that cannot ship within the promised time (or within 30 days if no time was stated) must offer the buyer the option to cancel and receive a prompt refund.

The D.C. Consumer Protection Procedures Act (D.C. Code § 28-3904) makes it a violation for any merchant to engage in an unfair, deceptive, or abusive trade practice, whether or not any consumer is in fact misled, deceived, or damaged.

I request payment of $649.00 by October 20, 2026, by check mailed to the address above.

I would prefer to resolve this without further steps.

Please direct any response to me in writing at the address above.

Sincerely,

Jordan Lee
