RE: Notice of Cancellation and Demand for Refund, Peak Fitness monthly membership
Dear Peak Fitness Clubs LLC,
I subscribed to Peak Fitness monthly membership (account M-55812) on January 15, 2025. On July 1, 2026 I requested cancellation by website. After that date I was charged $49.99 on August 1, 2026, $49.99 on September 1, 2026.
California's Automatic Renewal Law requires a business to let consumers cancel an automatic renewal or continuous service easily, and a consumer who signed up online must be able to cancel online.
Under the same law, goods, wares, merchandise or products sent without the consumer's affirmative consent to the automatic renewal terms are deemed an unconditional gift.
Please treat this letter as written confirmation that my subscription is cancelled, and stop all further charges. I also request a refund of $99.98 for the charges made after my cancellation, by October 16, 2026, by check mailed to the address above.
I would prefer to resolve this without further steps.
Please direct any response to me in writing at the address above.
Sincerely,
Jordan Lee
